The shows I have listen to when your guests talk about their coming out sound like me growing up in no mans land. Listening to how parents respond to their child when they come out is like wish it was that simple for me. When you have parent or parents that makes a person afraid to say anything till after 1 passes on, and the other just excepts your coming out years later with no questions or mixed feelings, makes a person like myself sit in amazement listing to others talk about their experience with their parents like Why was it not easy for me. Not jealous of a person talking about how their parents reacted, just confusing to me why some of us have had a parent who is negative. Any who Great Show and keep up the great job your doing. Hugs. Living on the "Bible Belt" of Texas, you see more hate than you do love. While you hope that one day people might consider going against the hateful thoughts and realize that their religion is based on a man who sat with the lowliest of society and taught messages of love and compassion, you do also have to accept that people who have been force-fed hate aren't about to jump off their bandwagons just yet. All you can do is offer them the love and compassion they deny you and hope for the best, I suppose. I new I was gay in the 6th grade having attraction to male teachers, and any man my eyes dropped on. Did not come out till Aug 2000. I just love listening to Leslie, wish he had more time for a longer interview. Tom I can listen to you forever, your voice is so calm and like you might have been on radio at some point in your life.
