Thank you, Tom: Janice has been one of my heroes for a long time—and an inspiration. I’ve referred to her three times on my blog (I checked) precisely because she represents what I’m fighting for. As deeply as I feel for what she’s gone through—and I do—I hope one day none of us will experience what she did. Looking forward to part 2!!

um… i wanna send a HUGE hug out to Janice and her family. when i heard about her story awhile back i was totally winded and quickly became angered. now hearing your interview with her wow. janice and her partner are such incredible human beings. i am glad she made the choices she made and became a strong shining example of what a parent, spouse, friend, community member, citizen can be. such a heart wrenching story i had to pause the podcast a few times because i couldn’t continue from sobbing so hard while i was at work. to be separated from your loved one in such a cold, demeaning, agressive manner and still have the heart and courage to make your voice heard at the same time holding the family together and providing explanations to her children as to what was going on.. oh it hurt so much and at the same time i felt so much love for her.
thanks ramble for every interview that you do and each personal story you provide of yourself and those close to you.
