I loved the two-part interview with Polito. I can’t remember if it was your or Archerr’s recommendation that had be go to “Band Fags” but I enjoyed it a great deal. I’m looking to add “Drama Queers” to my reading list.

I love hearing about guys in long-term relationships. Although he mentioned it passing, I would have loved to know more about how they are making it work. A great model for the rest of us.

Thanks for listening, John Q! As for your question about how Craig and I have made it work for so long… That’s a good one. As cliched as it sounds, I believe it’s because we really love each other. There’s no one I’d rather spend my nights with sitting in front of the television, or lying in bed on a Saturday morning. When I look across the dinner table, he is the one I want to see. I’m not saying it’s all sunshine and roses (don’t get Craig started on my inability to manage money!), we have our problems like all couples. But like so many old, married folk say, “we’re best friends.”

Loved the interview with Mr. Polito. He is a real inspiration for the gay community. He’s accomplished a lot considering he looks so young! I’m sure he will continue his amazing careers of acting and writing. I hope his plays will be picked up by a touring company. I’d love to see them.

I ordered his books on Amazon and am anxious to read them. They sound great.

It is also wonderful to hear of his 19 year relationship. Heterosexuals need to hear that our community has lasting relationships.

Love the podcast. Anxiously awaiting more!

That sounds about right. I lost the BF last Christmas after we had been together for 27 years. I think what made it work was that we enjoyed being with each other more than anyone else. We were definitely each other\’s best friend. Tomorrow will be the third month of his passing and I miss my best friend every single day.
