Episode 289 Interview with Nathan of NathanOutLoud Podcast
On this episode of Ramble Redhead, I talk with a new podcaster who I have really enjoyed so far. He has three episodes posted right now and they are amazing! His name is Nathan and like my show he has guests on the show to talk about their coming out stories and to help share more voices to the world. As many of you know I am huge fan of podcasting and glad I can share the other shows I enjoy. I will be an upcoming guest of Nathan on his show and wanted to have him on mine as well.

“a bar”?
Oh god, I think I’ll still frequent libraries and festivals thanks!
I swear I am the ONLY gay person who despises “bars”, dancing and other frivolous bore-inducing activities.
Whatever, this episode was alright – Nathan sounds like a nice guy (but he came out at 23?! I hope I come out before that, seriously).

Thank you so much for having me on the show Tom!! It was a lot of fun… And having you on my show was great too! I really appreciate your willingness to share your story and to continue to provide a forum to our community.
Sorry Zac to have disappointed in terms of where I met my boyfriend – just goes to show you never know where you might find love! I honestly never thought I would have met somebody that I was interested in having a relationship with at a bar, but I’ve proven myself wrong – twice!
Also, with all due respect – I am not sure it really serves anyone in the community to judge when or how somebody comes out.
All the best,
Nathan

Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t want to cause any upset, I’m a stupid teenager and my family aren’t at all religious or homophobic – so I can’t possibly understand. Apologies for that!

Hey Zac-
Thanks for taking the time to respond! I am sure you aren’t a ‘stupid teenager’. :-). I was there once and have struggled with wondering why some people don’t come out or wait so long to do it. But I have realized that until we have been in their shoes we have no way of knowing the full story! Everyone takes a different path in coming out and as a community our only responsibility is to be loving, accepting and supportive. Coming out is tough enough for most people…
Thanks again for responding. I really appreciate it!
Best,
Nathan

Why is my anti-spam word “ikea”? Racist!!! 🙂
Very intersting interview again – thanks for discovering another great podcasting talent! I have often found the love of my night in a bar – there is nothing to frown upon –
But I liked the way you both (zac and nat conversed with each other, very polite, civilized and constructive – cool!)
Discoveries like this are the reason I love the RRH (show) so much and I actually noticed that the relation between the “Tom-stories” and the “interviewee’s story” gets more and more balanced 🙂 Great!

Nathan – nice interveiw–nice and sexy voice! I can’t imagine the pressure you went through being in a Mormon family. Am glad it went well.

You begged and begged and begged and begged some more for Gooch to sing you a theme song. And you never use it. Shame on you Ramble. Shame.
Enjoyed the show though.
Xo kisses,
Vera
