Episode 274 Interview with Jennifer
On this episode of Ramble Redhead I have a very interesting guest – her name is Jennifer. Now I know many of my audience who belong in the GLBT community know how hard it is to come out not only to yourself, family and friends but what about being gay and being a parent? How would you tell your child you are gay? What impact will it have on your life. That is what Jennifer and I will be talking about today. She is a very talented woman who manages five (count them five blogs!) and one of them is called Kids of Queers. She talks about how she found out her father was gay and so much more. She is a wonderful person and once again I am so honored she took the time to be on the show!

I loved listening to Jennifer talk about her process of dealing with her dad’s coming out. It’s beautiful that she is working to ensure that other men (and presumably women) won’t have to go through the same.

It was nice hearing another perspective from a different angle. Jennifer was very candid and open about her relationship with her father. Sounds like she has come such a long way in dealing with the anger she said she was feeling.
Thanks for the great interview as always, Tom. Thanks also to Jennifer for sharing her story with us.

I can’t help but imagine that she has a very communicative relationship with her children. She can’t have worked all of these years to open communication without being a good communicator herself.
Cheers to her. I’m looking forward to peeking at her Web sites as well.
