On this episode of Ramble Redhead I talk about my birthday and comment on all of my listeners who offer birthday wishes for me and that November 4th, 2008 will always be remembered as Barack Obama is elected as the next president of the United States.  I was so proud to be able to vote this election and I am very excited about seeing what he will do for all of us.  However not all of the news is good and all of the issues regarding the GLBT community didn’t win and that truly saddens me so much.  So for those who live in the states (and I mean ALL of you) that I hope you will look and see what you did to help these issues get through – did you do your part?  If yes then I congratulate you but if not then I hope that by having Barack Obama the very first African American ever as a president will inspire you with hope that WE ALL can be free and NOT allow us to be second class citizens once again.  We truly need your help to make this happen.
