I'm not a regular listener of his, and my reasoning is, perhaps, a bit shallow. He's so damn smart! I just can't hang with that! I also hate that people in other countries have more knowledge of what's going on in American government when folks in our own country don't even know what's going on. Yes, I realize he's from here, but after being in NZ for 14 years, he's been gone long enough to be considered a NZ native! I love listening to his story of trying to go to his first gay "meeting". I can just picture him trolling the pay phone. And yes, I was one of "those listeners" who had a great big "awwww" when he discussed his first meeting with Nigel. What an interesting, courageous life he has had. Thanks for introducing him to me. I’ve heard Arthur on many of the various podcasts out there.
