Ramble,
all this blather about the new large phallic shaped microphone, and you did not say what mic it is. Yes i know it is very meta, but i like to know these things.

Thanks for the hints on what movies to avoid. So many of the gay-themed movies are marginal at best and so it’s good to know what to avoid.
The boyfriend and I just got through watching “As Luck Would Have It” which was nice – if you don’t mind subtitles.

The microphone sounded good–but I didn’t think your old set-up was bad. I could barely hear you on Archerr’s show today, though, but I’m sure that’s another issue somewhere.
Anyway, interesting stuff on this show. Good you Podcampers are getting back to ordinary shows now, interesting as the others were.

Hey Tom,
The new microphone sounds good. So now we know what you did with your tax refund. Cool. I love new mics. They make us sound so good. I sent off my taxes very early this year and luckily have already received my federal refund. Spent a bit of it on a leather hood for the kinkier side of my life. Was planning on buying a Macbook Pro with part of the money. But if you are a listener to my podcast err soap opra you know why that’s now gonna happen. And if you don’t listen to my podcast? Why not? Seriously, I enjoy your banter. Keep it up man.

“now” should be “not” in the above post. Sorry

I was pleasantly surprised by how much i liked the “Illusionist” when I saw it a month or so ago. Guess I can’t say too much about it with out revealing the secrets. hehehe. The mike sounded good.
I’m with arthur (amerinz), I was very hard to hear you when you’re on Archerr’s show. I kept having to turn the volume up and down. Hopefully you can figure out what’s going on with that 🙂

You don’t “get” a big chunk of change from the government…they’re giving you back the money they took from you. I had my finances down to the penny to where I didn’t owe or receive anything back at the end of the year. I prefer to spend my money AS I MAKE IT! But since having kids and being eligible for all these daycare subsidies, and child tax credits, etc., my taxes have been fucked up for the last three years until I can figure it all out again. I ain’t complaining…I’m getting shit loads of money back, but I’d just rather, again, have it as I make it as opposed to getting a “refund” or a “gift” back at the end of the year.
