He's been to Austin a few times over the past couple few years. Unfortunately, each time he's been here I've either been out of town, or some family crisis has come up that we haven't been able to get out to see him. I've read several interviews with Eric since getting turned on to him, and I wanted to let you know that with each interview, including this one, I find out more and more about him and become even more (if that's possible!) intrigued. Like, for example, "The giving tree" is one of my favorite stories too. I gave it to my folks one year for their 40th anniversary, and it's one of the ones I read frequently to my own kids.
