I’da gotten a restraining order back then!
I don’t think there’s any “right” way to date. I’ve done both ends of the spectrum…the speed dating and the “let’s take it slow” dating. While doing the speed dating, I went on several “bagel dates” where I was in and out of there in 30 minutes (or sometimes less). Sometimes you REALLY CAN tell that it’s not going to work. For example, when the ad reads, “Butch top”, and you show up to the “bagel date” and he’s in a floral print moo-moo with pink hi-lights in his hair, you know he mis-represented himself and it’s just not going to work out for ya. I, of course, NEVER showed up in a floral print moo-moo! 🙂
